A red vintage button, a dry 'naked' twig wrapped in waxed blue cord next to a delicate Honesty Seed pod.  The twig reminds me of Eucalyptus trees when they shed their bark.  To me Eucalyptus trees mean travel, freedom, sunshine, amazing blue skies, friends, campfires.

This pretty piece features a snail shell and a lovely twig covered in Lichen found on a summery evening walk through the countryside near Stratford Upon Avon. That feeling of running your palm over the smooth wooden post of a stile and avoiding nettle stings on the way down is bliss to me.

I raided my Grandad's slides carousel and found one taken of a pier with the muted turquoise and coral colours which inspired the colour scheme for the piece.  The dried stem to the left of the Schweppes bottle top reminds me of the weathered posts that can be found around the shoreline.  An unintentional nautical theme has appeared!

Three times recycled wood from my grandad's window frames plus 30 years of weathering, beautiful.

I love these customised vintage suitcases, much more interesting than having a picture on your wall, ahem!

Tunisian Doorways
This textured abstract was inspired by the turquoises, teals and blues found in traditional Tunisian doorways.

I found a scorched and rusting cigarette tin in the remains of a bonfire. It's wrapped up in embroidery yarn along side dried gorse, grasses and reeds collected walking in the Shropshire hills.
