What a beautiful photo (found! not taken by me), it evokes freedom in nature.

This Button Tree canvas was inspired by my childhood memories of playing in my great grandads garden. It was full of magical nooks and crannies like The Secret Garden.  The buttons are sewn on with Anchor embroidery thread, I love the wooden heart shaped one.

My pieces always have some sentimental value and happy memories attached to them.  The natural textures featured on this canvas were collected on a walk through Bushy Park with an old friend. I love the way the leaf has curled over.
